We have charged a man after fragrances were stolen from Boots in Preston.
We were called to the store on Fishergate yesterday morning (Tuesday 22nd January, 2025). It was reported that fragrances worth around £100 had been taken. A 46-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of theft.
We can now tell you that Patrick Harris, 46, of Eldon Street, Preston has been charged with two counts of theft from a shop and will appear before Preston Magistrates Court this morning.
Operation Vulture is Lancashire Constabulary’s response to shoplifting across the county.
The operation will see dedicated officers undertaking hotspot patrolling, increasing their visibility in targeted areas and creating strong partnerships with retailers across the county to better share intelligence, get a deeper understanding of retail crime and identify more offenders.
