Hate Crime and Third Party Reporting Centres
We recognise that people may witness or be the victim of hate crime or what they perceive to be a non-crime hate incident but may not want to report directly to the police. We want to remove any barriers to reporting, which is why we work with several independent organisations that can help you by taking a report on your behalf or assisting you in writing a report up, to be submitted to the police independently.
These organisations are called Third-Party Reporting Centres.
Staff at the Third-Party Reporting Centres have been trained to help victims and witnesses to submit a report to the police. Alternatively, they can make a report on your behalf.
